ENERCON has an opening for a full-time Air Practice Lead in our Central U.S. (Loveland,CO, Dallas or Houston, TX) region to develop new business in air compliance services and serve our client's needs by evaluating, planning, organizing, and performing environmental consulting services.

Candidate will provide leadership in the strategic sales and execution of environmental regulatory compliance work with a focus on air permitting/compliance, air monitoring and air quality modeling. Promote and assist the Region Leadership with sales and identify new business opportunities for air compliance and other environmental compliance services to Enercon clients.

Responsibilities:
Focus on air quality management including air regulatory compliance services such as MACT, NSPS, NESHAP, and air permitting NNSR/NSR, PSD and PBRs and air monitoring and air quality modeling.
May also work in other areas including SPCC, SWPPP, TPDES/NPDES permits and other environmental media including waste management, water management, Resource Conservation Recover Act and Clean Water Act regulations.
Serve as mentor for junior staff in project management and technical performance of environmental compliance work.
Development of new business and cultivation of existing clients in the environmental compliance area.
Regular interaction with Federal, State and local regulatory and resource management agency staff
Preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of related environmental air quality and environmental compliance experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (including chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering). Masters degree in engineering (including chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering) and PE designation is a plus.
Developed client relations in the central region for air compliance work with ability to generate sales and new business in air compliance consulting.
Extensive experience interacting with the EPA Region(s) and State agencies on behalf of clients and familiarity with air dispersion modeling.
Experience with photochemical modeling tools such CAMx and CMAQ and a strong foundation in atmospheric chemistry in support of CAMx/CMAQ experience is highly desirable.
Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, written, proposal and presentation) and abilities.
Self-directed, self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
Required to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel length may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few weeks to several months at a time
